Military Applications

Homeland Security: keeping the U.S. safe and secure is the mission that HiRel Systems takes very seriously. We provide magnetic components used for guidance, pilot interface, heads-up-display, as well as shipboard power supplies. We are a key supplier to Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and General Dynamics.

JDAM:
HiRel Systems offers a wide range of standard products designed and manufactured for use in military environments. With our in-house capabilities for most Mil-PRF and Mil-Std 202 testing, as well as over 200 years of design experience, HiRel Systems provides the armed forces with reliable magnetic components used in a wide variety of munitions and missile applications.

Mobile Communications:
Our Radio Frequency (RF) and power magnetic components insure precise and clear communications for our military personnel both here and abroad.

Controls:
Military aircraft must both receive instructions from the pilots as well as provide them with critical and timely information. The magnetic components that HiRel Systems supplies to the military provide this exchange of information with speed, accuracy, and reliability.

Shipboard Electronics:
Our products are used in both aircraft systems and shipboard systems. We design and build reliable magnetic components and power supplies for 50/60 and 400Hz frequencies to support communications and power distribution applications. Our power supplies, power conditioners, and power transformers are ruggedized and tested to survive nearby detonations of munitions. Many power supplies must sustain shock testing at 60Gs sinewave, at 30Hz over 3 axis, in addition to vibration of 3G sinewave at 5 to 28Hz.
